Ways to Borrow

Each family’s schedule is unique and, generally, packed! That’s why we have many ways for members to borrow toys at Rutabaga.

General Rules:

  • Refer to your toy’s label or its MyTurn listing for details on its contents & how to care for it

  • Clean items at home before returning; refer to our Toy Cleaning Procedures for instructions

 

Option 1:

Drop-in Browsing & Play

Members can browse for toys (and play as they wish) at Rutabaga during our open hours.

BTW: Non-members can visit as a guest of a Rutabaga member for a $15 drop-in fee (first visit free!)

 

Option 2:

Reservation Exchange

No time to browse in person? Simply reserve your items on MyTurn!

Log in to browse our inventory - when you find a toy you’d like to hold, click “Reserve” and select your pickup date in the popup calendar! Continue browsing toys to fill out your cart and submit your reservation. Then pop in to exchange or just give us a call and we’ll bring it out (car naps are life!) (267) 297-5293

Customized Toy Bag

Can’t decide what to borrow? Tired of looking at a screen? Don’t have time to come in and browse? We got you!

Members can choose to have the Rutabaga team pick your toys for you! Click here to complete a simple form at least 24 hours in advance.
