Our mission is to foster a welcoming, engaging, and exploratory space where children can connect with nature and express their creativity through art made from found and natural materials. We are committed to sustainability, child-led activities, and providing a nurturing environment for our community of caregivers and families.

The Assistant Director will play a vital role in the planning and execution of our summer program, ensuring it runs smoothly and lives up to our mission. • Direct Camper Engagement: Act as a lead counselor, participating in and facilitating camp activities, demonstrating a hands-on approach to leadership and mentoring.

  • Operational Support: Work alongside the camp director to manage daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high standard of safety and engagement.

  • Enthusiasm for outdoor activities and an understanding of the challenges and rewards of working in a nature-intensive, summer camp environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with a diverse range of children (campers), families, and young adults (staff).
