Rutabaga Scholarship Fund

When founding Rutabaga in 2019, it’s been our goal to create a space accessible to all, without financial barriers, so everyone can participate in our earth-friendly approach to play. We believe that the benefits of toy libraries are enormous, and we want as many people to join this movement as possible. After testing and refining this idea, we are extremely proud to offer a scholarship fund for families in the Philadelphia area to join the Rutabaga Toy Library!

The Rutabaga Scholarship is funded by generous donors in our community and 100% of the proceeds of our Second-Hand Toy sales. Membership helps educate families on how to incorporate sustainability into their own lives thus creating teachable moments for children and proven savings for caregivers. This scholarship greatly reduces the financial burden of joining our toy library.
