Nature Arts Camp

Our Nature Arts Program provides a safe and wondrous environment for children to explore mother nature, science, and most importantly, unstructured creativity through play and arts.

  • Must be 5 years old and enrolled in Kindergarten

  • 10% toy library member discount

  • 15% sibling discount

Days Off School Camp

Rutabaga Nature Arts offers drop-in camp days when school is closed. These days are open to children from any school.

  • Early Dismissals* (12:30-3:30) β€”$45

  • Full Day Closures (8:30-3:30) β€” $85

  • add extra care (3:30-5:30) β€” $20

*Pick-up at Thomas Mifflin School is available for early dismissal days. Other school students may arrange drop-off.

 

Policies Overview

OUTDOOR PLAY β€” We embrace the β€œNo bad weather, only bad clothing” philosophy β€” please ensure your child has appropriate attire for daily outdoor play and walking!

COMMUNICATION β€” Caregivers can rely on consistent communication through e-mail, phone, text, and face-to-face meetings with our educators.

WELLNESS β€” Masks will be required for all students when indoors and when not distanced outdoors (based on the current CDC recommendations). Everyone must wash hands when entering Rutabaga. See our detailed policy in our application form.
