More About Little Beets

Participate in hands-on music making experiences designed to support key areas of children’s musical development! Together, we will become sound explorers and investigate musical expressivity and contrast through shared songs, instrument playing, and movement activities. We will also enjoy instrumental free play using the musical resources of the Rutabaga Toy Library (and more)!

To encourage continued music making and exploration at home, families enrolled in the full series will receive a complimentary rental of a Little Beets Toolkit. Toolkits are yours to borrow for the duration of the program, and include many of the same materials we’ll use in our sessions, so that you can keep singing, playing and moving all week long!

Little Beets is designed and led by East Falls local Bekki Schwartz, a PK-12 music teacher, songleader and songwriter, and one half of the music-for-families duo The Blumbellies.
